In telephonic talk COAS Bajwa and Bill Gates discuss anti-Covid and polio measures
According to ISPR, Gates lauded the efforts of Pakistan in combating Covid-19 within limited resources


Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates held telephonic converstaion on Friday and discussed Pakistani efforts and commitment to control Covid-19 and polio.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Gates lauded the efforts of Pakistan Army in launching polio campaign and covering it properly.
Both sides also discussed aspects of how to promote education and information technology in Pakistan.
The Army chief told Gates that polio free Pakistan was national effort and mission. He attributed the victory to a genuine national response, saying national response was made possible by best use of resources under National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).
General Bajwa reiterated his commitment to continue his efforts and cooperation for those noble causes.
