Peshawar: The PTI-led Khyber Pakhtunkhawa government has announced to celebrate Eidul Firt tomorrow (Monday).
Barrister Muhammad Ali Khan Saif, who is special assistant to the Chief Minister KP, said Eidul Fitr would be officially celebrated tomorrow.
He said at least 130 witness accounts regarding sighting of Shawwal moon had been received from different parts of the province.
The provincial government's announcement is contrary to the announcement of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee chairman Mualana Abdul Khabir Azad who announced that Eid would be observed on Tuesday as Shawwal moon was not sighted in any part of the country.
