COAS visits Lahore, witnesses small arms firing
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa Monday said that extensive training ensures effective response against all challenges.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Army Chief has paid a visit to Lahore Corps and interacted with the Army troops. He witnessed small arms firing and was summarized about the operational mobility of the formation.
ISPR said, the COAS further urged the troops to keep informed with changing nature of the threat to meet any kind of challenges.
He also praised troops for their professionalism and high training standards, ISPR added.
General Qamar Javed Bajwa, during his visit, was accompanied by Corps Commander Lieutenant General Muhammad Abdul Aziz.
