Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday has rejected the Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) petition against the issuance of funds to National Assembly (NA) lawmakers by Prime Minister Imran Khan.

As per details, a three-member bench heard the petition against the issuance of funds to the NA lawmakers.
Earlier today, the ECP reserved its verdict regarding the maintainability of a petition challenging by the premier.
Following the hearing, PPP leader Nayyar Hussain Bukhari told the ECP bench that lawmakers used to cast votes for electing senators.He further said that the prime minister violated the law by issuing funds to lawmakers.
Corrupt practice was made by the issuance of funds to the legislators, says Bukhari.
