5 PTI activists 'martyred' during long march struggle: Qureshi

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said five PTI workers had been "martyred" and that the government had violated the orders of the Supreme Court.

Talking to GNN, Qureshi said a meeting was held with the government in which an attempt was made to release the arrested workers and remove the containers, but this did not happen.

He rejected any talks with the government in the current situation, saying that the pharaonic and Yazidism that the government is showing, talks don't take place in such an environment.

Earlier, PTI leader Shahbaz Gul also said in a Twitter message that the imported government has so far martyred 5 of our people.

He said the government had violated the sanctity of residential rights of citizens, desecrated women, tortured elderly women, shut down bullets, tear gas, shelling and the whole country.
