Reportedly, the ill-fated bus was travelling from Azad Kashmir to Karachi, when it turned turtle on a highway in Sindh province.


Ghotki: At least five people were killed while several others sustained injuries after a passenger bus overturned at Sukkur-Multan Motorway near point 89 on Tuesday, local media reported.
According to details, the horrific accident occurred as the driver of the bus slept while driving.
Reportedly, the ill-fated bus was travelling from Azad Kashmir to Karachi, when it turned turtle on a highway in Sindh province.
Rescue teams and police reached the spot after getting information and shifted the deceased and injured to Rahim Yar Khan Hospital.
As per officials, the injured are residents of different areas of Sindh and Punjab, adding that five of the injured are in critical condition.
One of the deceased was identified as Zeshan Ahmad from Sahiwal while the identities of the other deceased are yet to be ascertained.
