These reserves will also help to save 1.5 million of the foreign reserve
North Waziristan: Mari petroleum has discovered new reserves for oil and gas in Bannu Waste Block of North Waziristan, GNN reported.
Amid the inflation wave in the country, the oil and gas sector announced the good news that will bring much relief to the government and the public.
According to the spokesperson of Mari petroleum, the first-ever reserves of oil and gas have been discovered in North Waziristan including gas and condensate with a flow of 25MMCFD and 300bpd, respectively.
As per details, this new reserve will help in meeting the needs and requirements for oil and gas and will increase the hydrocarbon reserves in the country.
The spokesperson further added that these reserves will also help to save 1.5 million of the foreign reserve as the country would be more self-sufficient in oil and gas production.
