He arrives in Quetta on a day-long visit


Quetta: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will inaugurate Gwadar Eastbay Expressway during his one-day visit to Quetta.
According to details, Chief Minister Balochistan Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo welcomed the Prime Minister on his arrival.
During the visit, the PM will also move to Gwadar where he will inaugurate the Gwadar East Bay Expressway and will also take an aerial view of the Gwadar Port.
The completion of the Eastbay Expressway has constructed under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would provide primary connectivity of the Port and its Free Zone with the network of national highways for smooth logistic transportation of import, export, and transit goods.
The six-lane expressway would connect the port with the Makran Coastal Highway through the 2,281 acres free trade zone of Gwadar Port.
It will bypass the Gwadar port city and minimize the traffic disturbance so, this dedicated Eastbay Expressway will make the port more efficient, and less disturbance to the local masses.
Later, the Prime Minister will address local notables and fishermen and talk to newsmen after meeting a delegation of Chinese companies.
He will attend the passing out ceremony of Staff College, Quetta as chief guest.
