Karachi: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader and Senator Dr. Sikandar Ali Mendhro has passed away in the United States following a prolonged illness, GNN reported Saturday. He was 78.
According to media reports, Sindh government have confirmed the death of senior leader stating that he was suffering from cancer and was undergoing treatment in a US hospital for two months.
His family members said that his body would be brought to Pakistan by Tuesday (June 14).
Hailing from Badin district of Sindh, Dr. Sikandar Mendhro has also been the Health Minister of Sindh and also a member of the Sindh Assembly from 2013 to 2018.
