Imran Khan lashes out at government over cutting funding for tribal districts
"The imported government has not kept any development funding for Internally Displaced People (IDPs)"
Islamabad: Former Prime Minister and Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Sunday lashed out at the current government and said that in their government, the fund for tribal areas had been increased by three times to Rs131 billion.
PTI Chairman took to Twitter and said that they had tripled the funding for the tribes to Rs 131 billion and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government has budgeted only Rs110 billion for the tribal districts. He added that “the imported government” has not kept any development funding for Internally Displaced People (IDPs).
The former prime minister said that the inadequate measures of the government for the tribes show incompetence and ill intent of “the government of crooks”.
