Gilgit: President Dr. Arif Alvi on Wednesday said that the students can realize the dream of financial self-sufficiency through digital skills and freelancing.
He was addressing the 10th Convocation of Karakoram International University held at Gilgit campus.
He said the students who graduated from the university have a huge responsibility to dedicate themselves for the betterment of the nation.
He urged the females to play their role in national development as, without females' contribution, the target of development cannot be achieved.
The President said Gilgit-Baltistan is full of natural resources and has great potential in the tourism, mining, and agriculture sectors which need to be explored for development.
He congratulated the graduating students, their parents, and teachers, wishing them a bright future.
Earlier, the President awarded gold medals to the top position holders.
