COAS Bajwa, Turkish general agree to further enhance ties in counter-terrorism, training
Top generals discuss professional matters
Rawalpindi: The Commander of the Turkish Armed Forces called on Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday and discussed matters of mutual interests.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), they discussed issues related to further development of defense and security cooperation.
The Army chief said Pakistan attached special importance to relations with Turkey as the two countries had close historical, cultural and religious ties.
The two sides agreed to further liaise on counter-terrorism and training issues
