Ministers request HEC to give clear directions on exams policy
Lahore: Provincial Minister of Punjab for Higher Education, Raja Yasir Humayun Sarfaraz has talked to Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood to request Higher Education Commission (HEC) to give clear directions regarding examination policy.
Both education ministers agreed to request HEC to provide clear guidelines to universities on examination policies.
The provincial minister took to twitter and wrote, "I talked to Federal Minister and we agreed to request HEC to give clear directions to all public and private universities regarding examination policy".
He further that giving policy guidelines to universities is the mandate of HEC which is an autonomous entity."

Earlier yesterday, hundreds of private university students clashed with the security guards during demonstrations against in-person examinations. The students have been demanding online exams because classes were also held virtually.
