Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa Monday held a meeting with newly-appointed Air Chief Zaheer Ahmed Babar at GHQ.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the COAS felicitated Zaheer Ahmed Babar for taking the command as the new Air Chief of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
He also applauded the new Air Chief after he was bestowed the Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military) by President Arif Alvi.
The COAS also expressed best wishes to Air Chief Zaheer Ahmad Babar, ISPR added.
The military media wing further said, the Army Chief also hopes that the PAF will surely prosper under the best command of Zaheer Ahmed.
Earlier, newly-appointed Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar has been conferred the Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military) award by President Dr Arif Alvi.
The President conferred the new Air Chief with Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military) as a recognition of his magnificent services for the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
