Swat: The Kalam-Mingora Road has been closed for traffic on Tuesday after a glacier collapsed during heavy downpour and snowfall near Laikot in Sawat valley.

Following the collapse, residents nearby areas were stuck in their villages while tourists were forced to walk their way out of the affected areas.
According to local police, efforts are underway to clear the road.
“Heavy machinery has been mobilized to clear the road as quickly as possible for traffic,” the official added.
Meanwhile, rain in Lahore and its adjacent areas and other cities of Punjab turned the weather cold.
Rain was also reported in different other cities of country including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Multan.
According to Met Office, hailstorm and heavy fall is also expected in Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir during.
