President, PM strongly condemn terrorist attack on security forces' check post in Harnai, Balochistan
The Prime Minister said the nation cannot forget the sacrifices of its martyrs for defence of the country.
Islamabad: President Dr Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have strongly condemned the terrorist attack on security forces' check-post at Khost area of Harnai district in Balochistan.
In their separate statements, they expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of Naik Atif and Sepoy Qayyum, who embraced martyrdom, while foiling the designs of terrorists. They paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for security of the country on the occasion of Independence Day and prayed to Allah Almighty to elevate their ranks in paradise and give courage to the bereaved family.
The President and the Prime Minister also prayed for early recovery of Major Umar, who was injured in the incident.
The Prime Minister said the nation cannot forget the sacrifices of its martyrs for defence of the country.
He said martyrs are our pride and prayers of the entire nation, including him, are with departed souls and their families.
