Pakistan Railways to get 50 new coaches from China in December
Islamabad: Pakistan Railways will receive first batch of fifty new coaches from China in December this year, which will help to provide modern facilities to the passengers.
An official of Pakistan Railways told APP that out of total 230 coaches, fifty coaches will be provided as completely built units while the remaining will be manufactured in the county by the department’s engineers and technical staff under the supervision of Chinese experts.
He said the coaches will have the capacity to run at the train’s speed of 160 kilometers per hour.
