The price of gold reaches at Rs150,850 per tola in local bullion markets

Karachi: Gold price in the local bullion markets continued to soar on Thursday as the yellow metal witnessed Rs700 per tola increase.
Data released by All Sindh Sarafa and Jewellers Association (ASSJA) showed that the price of gold rose by Rs750 per tola and Rs644 per 10 grams to settle at Rs150,850 and Rs129,330 respectively.
Inflationary pressures and weakening of local currency against the US dollar boosted gold price in local bullion markets.
