Pakistan outshine Bangladesh in opening match by 21 runs in Christchurch

Christchurch: Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 21 runs in the opening match of the T20 tri-series in New Zealand city of Christchurch on Friday.
Chasing a competitive target of 168 runs to win, the Bangladeshi team could score 146 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
For Pakistan, the pick of the bowlers was pacer Mohammad Wasim who took three wickets for 24 runs in his four overs.
Bangladesh’s batting line-up faltered while chasing the 168-run target set by Pakistan as after the completion of 15 overs, the Bangladeshis have lost six batsmen with 105 runs on board.
