IA has confirmed the arrest of PTI Senator
Islamabad: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Senator Saifullah Niazi, GNN reported on Friday.
According to details, FIA has confirmed the arrest of PTI Senator Saifullah Niazi.
FIA cyber crime arrested Saifullah Niazi from outside Parliament House.
Earlier, the FIA cybercrime team has also raided his house. During the raid, Saifullah Niazi's laptop and a mobile phone were also seized.
While reacting to the arrest of Senator Saifullah, PTI General Secretary Asad Umar claimed that Senator Saifullah Niazi has been forcefully taken by the FIA officials.
On the other hand, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry said that the senator was arrested from the premises of the Senate.
"Such big fascism has never been revealed in the country, there can be no greater insult to the Parliament. Chairman Senate should at least show honor and take notice of this process", Fawad Chaudhry concluded.
