President, PM express grief over death of nine people due to roof collapse in Chilas
The unfortunate incident killed nine people, including four minor boys and four minor girls
Islamabad: President Dr. Arif Alvi has expressed grief and sorrow over the death of nine people due to collapse of a decaying roof in Bonardas, Chilas.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has also expressed grief and sorrow over the death of nine people due to collapse of a decaying roof in Bonardas, Chilas.
In a tweet on Sunday, he said we share the grief of the bereaved family and extend our condolences to them.
The Prime Minister also prayed for the departed souls.
Earlier today, at least nine people were killed when depilated rooftop of a house collapsed in a rural area of Chilas.
According to details, the unfortunate incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday and killed nine people, including four minor boys and four minor girls.
Rescue teams and local officials shifted the bodies to Chilas District Hospital. Later, after official documentation, the bodies were handed over to the heirs.
The Chief Minister of Gilgit Baltistan has also expressed grief and sorrow over the unfortunate incident.
