FIFA World Cup 2022 will be played from November 20 to December 18.


Islamabad: A security contingent of the Pakistan Army left for Qatar on Monday from Nur Khan Airbase to assume the security for FIFA World Cup 2022.
The contingent comprises Pakistan Army's officers, Junior Commissioned Officers, and soldiers.
Pakistan Army will provide security assistance to the Qatari government during the biggest and most anticipated sporting event, FIFA World Cup.
The troops traveling to Qatar for FIFA World Cup 2022 were trained on security by FIFA's eight-member international training team when it visited Pakistan in September.
It is pertinent to mention that the FIFA World Cup 2022 will be played from November 20 to December 18.
