The price of the yellow metal settles at Rs143,100 per tola

Karachi: Gold price plummeted by Rs700 per tola in the local bullion markets on Monday.
According to the data released by the Sindh Sarafa Bazaar Jewelers Association, the price of the yellow metal dropped by Rs700 per tola to settle at Rs143,100 per tola, while the 10grams gold price fell by Rs600 to close at Rs122,785 per 10 grams.
In the international market, the price of yellow metal plunged by $18 and remained below the key $1,700 per ounce level. The price settled at $1,677.
