FIA arrested senior PTI leader and former federal minister Senator Azam Khan Swati on October 13
Islamabad: A special court of Islamabad on Sunday again extended the physical remand of PTI’s leader Azam Swati by one day in a case pertaining to a controversial tweet, and ordered the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to again produce him tomorrow.
The FIA had sought eight-day physical remand of Swati. However, the court extended the physical remand of the accused by one day and ordered to produce him again.
On the previous hearing, the court extended the physical remand of the accused after the completion of a two-day remand. The court also ordered the FIA to conduct a medical examination of the accused.
It is pertinent to remember, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested senior PTI leader and former federal minister Senator Azam Khan Swati on October 13.
