Polling for by-elections in three constituencies of Punjab Assembly concluded
Turnout was quite low in most constituencies with several incidents of violence


Lahore: Polling for by-elections on eight seats of the National Assembly and three seats of the Punjab Assembly concluded.
The constituencies of the National Assembly, where the by-elections are being held, include Mardan, Charsadda, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Nankana Sahib, Malir, Korangi and Multan whereas the Punjab Assembly's constituencies are Sheikhupura, Khanewal, and Bahawalnagar.
The polling was held from 8:00 am to 5:00 in evening without any break.
In his statement pertaining to the polls in different constituencies, the Chief Election Commissioner said that no interference will be tolerated during the polling.
