Rawalpindi: Massive fire broke out in Rawalpindi’s Urdu Bazar on Thursday, engulfing multiple shops and inflicting heavy losses on traders.

Rescue teams along with more than ten fire brigade vehicles of the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) reached the spot after getting information.
Teams are struggling to take control over blaze and facing immense hardship due to the narrow streets and gusty winds.
Officials stated that the fire is spreading further to nearby shops.
Moreover, WASA Managing Director Raja Shaukat is also present at the site overseeing the firefighting operation.
It is being believed that a short circuit caused the blaze. However, no loss of life has been reported yet.
