PM calls for enhanced Pak-Egypt cooperation in economy
Prime Minister has underscored the need for enhanced cooperation between Pakistan and Egypt in the economic field.
Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has underscored the need for enhanced cooperation between Pakistan and Egypt in the economic field.
Talking to Tarek Mohamed Dahroug of Egypt, who called on him in Islamabad on Thursday, he also emphasized the importance of greater engagement at leadership level, people-to-people contacts, and increased institutional linkages.
During the meeting, they discussed on further strengthening of Pakistan-Egypt relations and the upcoming COP-27 in Egypt.
Recalling his telephonic talk with the President of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Prime Minister appreciated the support and solidarity by Egypt in the wake of climate-induced floods which caused devastation in Pakistan.
