PTI halts long march for the day as Imran vows to continue fighting 'thieves'
Khan announced that the long march would resume its journey towards the federal capital at 11am from Shahdara

Lahore: PTI Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan on Friday night halted the long march at the end of the first day of the anti-government protest.
"I knew Lahore will never disappoint me," he said, addressing the participants of the march at the Data Darbar, Lahore.
"However, we are concluding our Islamabad-bound journey for today," he maintained.
Khan announced that the long march would resume its journey towards the federal capital at 11am from Shahdara, outside Lahore.

The PTI chief reiterated his stance, saying the long march was neither for politics nor was it a regular movement. Instead, it is a "jihad" for real freedom, he stressed.
He said this is the biggest freedom movement of this country. "We want the rule of law in the country and not the law of the jungle."
The march started from the Liberty Chowk, passed through Ichhra and then reached the Mozang Chungi Chowk, where workers at the reception camp set up welcomed the marchers.
The long march from the Mozang Chungi Chowk reached the MAO College Chowk where Imran Khan told his supporters that they are not ready to enslave anyone inside or outside, the way Arshad Sharif was threatened, he had to go out of the country.
The procession then reached the PMG Chowk where the lawyers -- participating in the reception camp organized by the lawyers of the Lahore Bar -- welcomed the participants.
According to PTI, the long march will resume in the morning and will move to Kamoki, Gujranwala.
