The incident took place when the Police were conducting a routine patrol in the area.


Lakki Marwat: In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, at least six police personnel were martyred in an attack on police mobile van in district Lakki Marwat on Wednesday.
According to details, the martyred personnel include four police constables, an ASI and the driver.

Dead bodies have been shifted to a nearby hospital, while police has started search operation in the area.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has strongly condemned the tragic incident.
Chief Minister Mahmood Khan said such cowardly acts cannot bring down morale of our security forces.
He said the provincial government will not leave the bereaved families alone in this difficult time.
Taking notice of the incident, Chief Minister Mahmood Khan sought report of the attack on police van.
Mahmood Khan conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families. He prayed for eternal peace of the martyred souls and patience for their families.
