The price of the yellow metal comes down despite weakening of the Pakistani rupee

Karachi: Contrary to the conseuctive rise in value, the price of 24 karat per tola gold witnessed a decrease of Rs450 on Thursday.
The yellow metal was sold at Rs 158,400 per tola against its sale at Rs158,850 the previous day, data released by All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association showed.
The price of 10 gram 24 karat gold also decreased by Rs386 and was sold at Rs135,820 against Rs136,188.
The price of per tola and 10 grams silver remained constant at Rs1,690 and Rs 1,448.9 respectively.
The price of gold in the international market decreased by $16 per ounce and was traded at $1766 against its sale at $1782 the previous day.
