Gold loses shine, price declines Rs400 per tola in Pakistan
The price of the yellow metal settled at Rs158,000 per tola

Karachi: Gold lost its shine in the local bullion markets of the country on Friday.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the gold price depreciated Rs400 to close at Rs158,000 per tola and Rs342 per 10 grams to settle at Rs135,460 per 10 grams.
In the international market, the precious commodity lost $5 per ounce to settle at $1,761.
According to the market experts, the local gold price followed international pattern despite weakening of the Pkaistani rupee against the US dollar.
