Arif Alvi reaches Lahore to meet Imran Khan
Imran Khan and Dr. Alvi will discuss the matter of leading appointments of Pakistan Army.

Lahore: President Dr. Arif Alvi has reached Lahore today to meet Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan to discuss the matter of appointment of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff committee (CJCSC).
According to President House, Arif Alvi will meet Imran Khan today at four in the evening at his residence Zaman Park Lahore.
Former premier Imran Khan and Dr. Alvi will discuss the matter of leading appointments of Pakistan Army.
Federal government today had sent a summary to the president regarding the significant appointments.
Federal government has decided to appoint Lieutenant General Asim Munir as Chief of Army Staff (COAS). Leiutenant General Sahir Shamshad will be the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC).
