Among the victims, two were girls
Bahawalpur: In an unfortunate incident, at least three teenagers, including two girls, have lost their lives after a speeding school van rammed into their motorcycle in rear-end collision on Thursday near Yazman Mandi in Bahawalpur District.
According to preliminary details, the cause of the accident was school van’s ‘over speeding’, which hit the motorbike from behind.
Reportedly, the students were on their way to school before meeting the horrific crash.
Rescue teams and police reached the spot after getting information and shifted the deceased to the nearby hospital.
According to rescue officials, the deceased have been identified as Laiba Yusuf (16), Khadija Hussain (15) and Muhammad Ilyas (14).
Police, however, started an investigation into the incident.
