Cold, dry weather expected in most parts of country

Islamabad: Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.

Foggy conditions are likely to develop over plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during night and morning hours.

Frost is likely to occur at isolated places in Pothohar region during morning hours.

Temperatures of some major cities recorded this morning:

Islamabad five degree centigrade, Lahore ten, Karachi thirteen, Peshawar seven, Quetta minus one, Gilgit minus four, Murree four and Muzaffarbad six degree centigrade.

According to Met Office, forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, very cold and dry weather is expected in Srinagar and Leh, cold and dry in Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramulla.

Srinagar, Pulwama and Baramulla zero degree centigrade, Jammu nine, Leh minus seven,  Anantnag and Shopian one degree centigrade.
