Court orders to jail Dania Shah over Dr. Aamir Liaquat’s leaked videos case

Karachi: The court today has ordered to jail Syeda Dania Shah— third wife of late televangelist Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain— amid the case of leaking an obscene video.
The court has allowed Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) to interrogate Dania Shah in the jail.
During the hearing, Dania allegedly stated: “I have not leaked any videos, rather I am being involved in the case over property dispute”.
On December 16, FIA arrested Dania Shah from her house located in Lodhran.
According to reports citing Dania Shah’s mother, several police officers raided their house and subjected all family members to torture.
Reportedly, FIA’s cybercrime circle arrested Dania Shah for leaking Hussain's indecent video earlier this year.
It is pertinent to mention here that a welfare organization had filed a petition against Aamir Liaqat’s wife in a district and sessions court.
The officials confirmed that the action was taken on the complaint of the disgruntled Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA's daughter.
The development comes months after the anchorperson's death, who died under mysterious circumstances at his Karachi home in June.
