Islamabad: President Dr Arif Alvi has summoned session of the National Assembly at the Parliament House in Islamabad on Thursday (today).
The session will be held at five in the evening.
The Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members will appear before Speaker National Assembly (NA) Raja Perviaz Ashraf for verification of their resignations, which have been pending in the assembly secretariat for last seven months.
The resignations, if accepted, will deprive former Prime Minister Imran Khan to become part of constitutional process for indulging in consultation with the PM for caretaker setup under article-224 of Pakistan’s constitution.
