COVID-19: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar hospitalized
Indian superstar Akshay Kumar who contracted COVID-19 a few days earlier has now been admitted to a hospital.

In the latest update, Akshay Kumar has posted on his Instagram account informed the fans about his hospitalization.

The Bollywood artist thanked his fans for their good wishes and prayers and said that he is fine but has taken precautionary measures and has been admitted to the hospital on medical advice.
Akshay Kumar has expressed hope that he will return home soon while he asked the fans to take care of them too.
Earlier, Akshay after contracting the novel coronavirus on Sunday isolated himself in his home, following all the COVID-19 guidelines.

Akshay took to his official Twitter handle and updated his fans about the health status and also urged those who may have come in contact with him to get themselves tested for Covid-19.
"I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols, I have immediately isolated myself,” the actor wrote.
He further added, “I'm under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care".
Requesting those who have come in close contact with him, the star wrote, "I would sincerely request all those that have come in contact with me to get themselves tested and take care."
The 53-year old star was busy shooting for his upcoming film Ram Setu in Ayodhya.
It may be recalled that before Akshay Kumar, several Bollywood actors have also become the victim of the deadly coronavirus, including Aamir Khan, Paresh Rawal, Miland Sooman, Sunny Deol, Ranbir Kapoor and his mother Neto Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Karthik Aryan and Amitabh Bachchan.
