Umair Jaswal quits ‘Shoaib Akhtar biopic’ citing personal reasons

Karachi: The famous Pakistani singer, Umair Jaswal Wednesday announced to quit his role in cricketer Shoaib Akhtar’s biopic called ‘Rawalpindi Express’.
On Wednesday, Umair made an announcement on his Instagram account regarding stepping away from the movie Rawalpindi Express amidst ‘creative and personal reasons’.
He also wrote: “I will no longer be associated with any media or news related to this project,” and wished best for everyone involved in the project.

Earlier on November 22, the singer turned to Twitter and shared the news that he would be playing Shoaib Akhtar in his upcoming biopic.
