Muhammad bin Salman congratulated Asim Munir for becoming the Chief of Pakistan Army.


Makkah: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir Sunday arrived in Makkah and visited the Great Mosque Masjid-ul-Haram to perform Umrah.
The door of the Holy Kaabah was especially opened for the dignitary, who offered Nawafil and prayed for the development and prosperity of Pakistan.
Army chief is on first official visit to Saudi Arabia and Untited Arab Emirate (UAE) after he assumed the charge in November 2022.
He also met Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman and Defence Minister Khalid bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz.
Muhammad bin Salman congratulated Asim Munir for becoming the Chief of Pakistan Army. Both parties agreed to strengthen bilateral ties and military cooperation.
