Karachi: Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, daughter of former president Asif Zardari and former premier Benazir Bhutto, has tested positive for novel coronavirus.

Taking to twitter, Bakhtawar shared that she was diagnosed with Covid-19 on April 02 and went into isolation following that.
She urged people to follow precautionary measures, get vaccination and help less fortunate to get vaccinated too.

Earlier in November, Bilawal Bhutto too tested positive for Covid-19 just a day before the engagement of his sister, Bakhtawar Bhutto-Zardari.
Several politicians have so far tested positive for coronavirus including Prime Minister Imran Khan, President Arif Alvi, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Ayaz Sadiq, Shahbaz Sharif, Hamza Shahbaz, Sania Nishtar, Saeed Ghani, Aamir Liaquat Hussain, Nehal Hashmi, Marriyum Aurangzeb and Raja Pervaiz Ashraf.
Pakistan has reported 4,004 new Covid-19 cases and 102 deaths, with authorities linking the uptick in numbers to the third wave of the deadly outbreak across the country.
According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 4,004 cases of coronavirus were reported while 102 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 15,026.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 700188.
