District admin seals several shops, restaurants in Lahore over SOP violation
Lahore: District Administration of provincial capital has taken action against several shops, stores and restaurants for violating coronavirus related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Local media while quoting Assistant Commissioner City reported that a total of 11 shops were fined a total of 113,500 rupees while four restaurants and three other shops were sealed.
Pakistan is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.
According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 5,329 cases of coronavirus were reported while 98 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 15,124.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 705516. As many as 623,399 patients have recovered from the disease with 3,942 critical cases.
In Punjab, The number of patients swelled to 240,584 in the province with 6,793 causalities.
