Coalition govt doing politics on horrific Peshawar Police Line suicide attack, says Imran

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief and former Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Peshawar mosque suicide attack was an horrific accident but they [the coalition partners] were doing politics on it.

The PTI Chief underlined the historic facts behind the militancy and anger among the people in the northern areas and Afghanistan.

He expressed these words in a televised video message on Wednesday.

Khan said that two parties [PML-N and PPP] avoided to raise any voice against the American war on the soil of Afghanistan, saying that they had money in the foreign accounts.

The Pakhtun people stood by with the local police and fought against terrorism but the true fight against terrorism could be fought only on the basis of intelligence.

He stated that during his governmnet in KPK, the terrorism came to an end but the coalition government was blaming them right now.

"We are not in the power today. They are in the power but they are corrupt," said Khan, adding that Bajwa brought these people back to the power despite that he was clearly conveyed that they were 'ineligible'. 

"How the people who caused damage to the country could right the wrong?," he asked.

The PTI Chief said that the question that why the terrorism did not take place during thier tenure from 2013 to 2018 and onward. 

"Now they have come to the power and the situation has turned worst," he added.

Inflation, he said, was he major issue now for the public as the rupee fell down and its impact had yet to come and the prices of petroleum products were also increased. 

"In nine months, the foriegn loands went up to Rs10 trillions," said Khan, adding that now they had erased all their corruption cases. 

"They had never been worried about terrorism and other challenges," said Khan, pointing out that the coalition government ended all their cases.  First NRO was given to them by Musharraf and the second NRO was given them by General retired Bajwa, he added.

He stated that now they [the coalition partners] were making efforts to run away from the elections despite that they dissolved assemblies in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. 

Khan apprehended that they could delay the elections on the grounds of terrorism. He said there was terrorism in 2013 but elections were not delayed and similar situation was in 2018 but the elections took place on time.  The PTI Chairman said that they feared of elections, adding that they were making false cases against them. 

"The case of Fawad Chaudhary is the recent example of their fascism, because they want to spread fear among the society," he said, adding that they wanted to regiser fake cases against the PTI leaders.

He regretted that the inerim governments were conducting raids on the houses of the PTI . They also raided the house of Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi in Gujrat.

"The interim governemnts do not take such steps," Khan expressed concerns over the role of the interim government.

"Why are these interim governments so brave? Why interim government is interfering into the JIT made to investigate my case. Who is behind it? The officers of May 26 officers have been appointed by the interim government in Punjab," said Khan.

Imran went on to say that there was a sign of "Qiayamat"  that Asif Ali Zardari filed a defamation suit against him.

"What kind of terror you have spread in Sindh. I thank God that you have filed defamation suit against me. We will show the articles published worldwide about your repute," he stated, pointing out that he would present a book on Zardari's character in the court.

"These powerful people are making attempts to save themselves," said Khan,.

"Asif Ali Zardari, I know the details. Who are involved in the plot for my assassination are in my knowledge. The third plan will be in the name of terrorism," said the PTI Chief, adding that he also knew the officers.

"Sweets were distributed among the people in Albania when Pakistan was created. But unfortunately, these thieves have taken  the power corridors," he pointed out, adding that these thieves did not have any concern with the problems and challenges of the country, because they would fly out.

"Still there is a way. Free and fair elections. A government with the true mandate will make right decisions," he said while addressing the public. 

"This is the only way to take the country out of crisis," said Khan, lashing out at the PDM and coalition government  were playing tactics to delay the elections.

"They want the umpires of thier own choices but they will face the defeat," he added.
