The lights and colors have won the hearts of the thousands of the fans present there in the opening ceremony at Multan stadium.


Lahore: Pakistan Super League (PSL) 8th edition kicked off with a glittering opening ceremony at Multan Stadium on Monday.
The ceremony started with the national anthem followed by the performance of the artists on PSL song and other items. The performed presented amazing dance on the occasion and won the hearts of the fans who were in thousands.
The start of HBL PSL 8 is being said as the best distraction for the people in the given circumstances.

The singers amazed the audience by their heart-touching songs and dance on the occasion. The fire-work colored the whole scene.
Habib Bank Limited (HBL) President and CEO Muhammad Aurangzeb addressed the opening ceremony and congratulated the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for amazing tournament for the eighth time. Aurangzeb also thanked PCB Chairman Najam Sethi for delivering a successful tournament year after year.
“This is historic moment that we have inaugurated PSL in Multan this year,” said Aurangzeb, adding that the HBL PSL turned out to be a power mega event.
He said, “all the stakeholders have put huge efforts to make it a success,”.
PCB Chairman Najam Sethi also addressed the ceremony and presented a large replica of the PSL8 trophy before the audience.
Sethi said that they would organize it in Quetta and Peshawar next year, adding that the PSL turned out to be a major source of happiness for the people besides giving many assets to the country.
He also put a question to the audience that whom they were going to support in tonight match.
The ceremony, however, started with a half-hour delay and the fans who were thousands in numbers were quite eager to see it.
The singers including Sahir Ali Bagga and Baig entered the stage and won the hearts of the fans by their amazing performance.
Asim Azhar, Faris Shafi and Shae Gill performed the official PSL 8 anthem. A grand fireworks colored the sky at the end of the ceremony.
Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars will lock the horns in the first match of the mega event.
