The blast reportedly occurred in the economy coach of the train.

Chichawatni: At least two people were killed while three others sustained injuries on Thursday after a blast hit Jaffar Express— which was travelling from Quetta to Peshawar— near Punjab's Chichawatni.
According to details, the explosion occurred after a passenger hid a cylinder in his luggage and took it to the bathroom where it exploded, causing casualties and injuries, who were moved to a nearby hospital.
The blast reportedly occurred in the economy coach of the train, as confirmed by Pakistan Railways spokesperson Babar Ali.
After getting information, rescue teams and relief teams of Pakistan Railways rushed to the incident site. The SP Railways also arrived at the blast site to provide further details.
Just a month ago, on January 30, the same train was targeted in a blast, injuring at least eight passengers, two of them seriously, and derailing two bogies of the train near the Mach area in the Kachhi district of Balochistan.
The nature of the blasts is still unknown, according to sources.
In the meantime, an investigation is ongoing, and the authorities are expected to take swift action to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.
