Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa, on Friday has called on Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, to discuss issues of mutual interest, defense and security cooperation and regional geo-political environment.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Qamar Javed Bajwa went to Qatar on a two-day official visit and witnessed the passing out parade at Ahmed Bin Muhammad Military College. While there, the COAS appreciated the quality of training imparted to the cadets in tackling war challenges.
The Army Chief also met Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Lieutenant General (Pilot) Ghanim bin Shaheen.
