“Bring your money back to Pakistan,” Imran reacts to PM’s policy of austerity measures
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman while condemning PM’s statement about inflation has said that the public is not ready yet for inflation but for something ‘else’.

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed surprise over the statement of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif that the inflation would further go up and the people should ready for it.
“Shehbaz Sharif just said that inflation will further go up. He has asked the people to get ready for this. This is what I learnt from his speech,” said Imran Khan while reacting to PM Shehbaz Sharif’s press conference on austerity measures.
“There is already historic inflation in Pakistan and inflation increased three times high after our government,” said Khan, regretting that no major announcement could come from PM Shehbaz.
He said that had they [Sharifs and others] brought the money back there would have been no need of any IMF deal.
Imran Khan also expressed gratitude for the people who joined his ‘Jail Bharo Tehreek’. He said that he ran his struggle under the law for the sake of this country.
“We struggled against the Meer Jafars and Meer Sadiqs. You traitors are responsible. You have brought the country to the verge of collapse. Inflation is going up and unemployment also,” he added.
He regretted that his government was ousted despite that the economy was strengthening, believing that removal of his government was a conspiracy against the country.
Khan said that they wanted rule of law and justice in the country. He claimed that their fundamental rights were violated and maximum tactics were used against them.
“They entered into the homes on May 25 and martyred our two people and left many others injured despite that they were holding peaceful protests,” said Khan, adding that the fake cases were registered against them.
Talking about NAB cases, he said that the PML-N blue-eyed came to know that the fake cases were being made against the PTI leaders and they got their loans of Rs11b waived off.
“Now they are asking people to get ready for inflation,” he regretted.
The PTI Chairman said that he received number of calls that people were ready to go to jails.
While asking the people of Pakistan, Imran Khan said that a person who escaped this country was sitting at the property of billions of rupees and was making decisions in the country.
Khan further said that Shehbaz Sharif was under trial and he and his sons made Rs16b through illegal means while the case of Rs8b was separate.
“A corrupt man is the chief minister while Asif Zardari is known as ten percent all over the world. He is now advisor of this government. Rana Sanaullah, it was said about him that he killed 18 people,” said Khan.
He came down upon the caretaker setups and the ECP.
"A caretaker setup cannot stay in power more than 90 days," he added.
Addressing the police officers who were part of crackdown against the PTI, its leaders and workers, Khan said that “Next government will be of the PTI. InshaAllah, I make promise that you will not get any chance to run away. We will hold you accountable,”.He urged the people to come out to join his cause.
“The criticism targeting the judges is condemnable. It is a mafia. There is not even a single example of such actions even in the dictatorship,” he added.
He asked the people to get ready and join his Jail Bharo Tehreek.
