Lahore Police unveils security plan for PSL
Punjab Safe City Authorities cameras will continuously monitor the surroundings.
Lahore: Lahore Police has finalized a security plan for the Pakistan Super League-8 (PSL) which includes more than 5,000 security personnel will be deployed on the occasion of PSL, including 11 Superintendent of Police (SPs), 34 Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSPs) and 94 inspectors.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Afzal Kausar said that full security will be provided to the players and fans.
He said: “43 teams of elite force, 107 teams of dolphins and 58 teams of Police Response Unit (PRU) will be patrolling, while checkpoints will be set up at various places including around the airport and stadium”.
Additionally, Punjab Safe City Authorities (PSCA) cameras will continuously monitor the surroundings.
