Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area.


Rawalpindi: The Security forces killed two terrorists following an intense exchange of fire in North Waziristan, following which two soldiers embraced martyrdom, said the military’s media wing.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), in a statement on Monday, said that on Sunday (February 26, 2023), a fire exchange took place between terrorists and their own troops in Spinwam area of North Waziristan.
During the shootout, Sepoy lmran Ullah (25) and Sepoy Afzal Khan (21) having fought graciously, embraced martyrdom.
Two terrorists were killed while two others were apprehended, ISPR said, adding that weapons and ammunition were also recovered from their possession.
The ISPR further added that the security forces have cordoned off the area and a search operation is underway.
Pakistan Army is determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
