Robots to deliver groceries and parcels in Singapore
A Singapore technology company has deployed a pair of robots to bring residents their groceries and parcels that are ordered online, hoping to capitalize on a surge in demand for home deliveries.

The robots are developed by ‘Otsaw Digital’ which is also known as ‘Camello’. The new product could help people receive contactless and humanless delivery, especially during the coronavirus pandemic.
The services of home delivery robots have been offered to 700 households in a one-year trial and will deliver food or parcels that are ordered online. People can also guide supply slots for their milk and eggs.
These robots will make four or five dispatches a day on weekdays and will be available for half a day on Saturdays.
Moreover, an app has developed that will notifies users when the robotic is about to succeed in a pick-up level.
Furthermore, after every trip they will disinfect themselves by using ultraviolet light.
For the time being, workers will accompany the newly developed robots on their rounds to make sure no issues come up.
Otsaw Digital was founded in 2015 and has focus on developing robotics technologies and artificial intelligence for healthcare, security delivery, and mobility applications.
