Islamabad: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will chair the High-Level Special event in Commemoration of the International Day to combat Islamophobia on 10th of this month.
According to the Permanent Mission of Pakistan to United Nations, UN General Assembly President Csaba Kőrösi will co-convene the event.
International Day to Combat Islamophobia is an global observance designated by United Nations in 2022, taking place on March 15 every year in 140 countries worldwide.
The date was chosen as it is the anniversary of the Christchurch mosque shootings, in which 51 people were killed.
